I am back now after a long long break….

Actuly I completely forgot I handled a blog. U know busy wid studies naa….

Theres an interesting incident which I wud like mentioning here. This ws 13^th the Sunday we friends went for a cal center interview.

The interview goes on as below:

Tarjini maam: So u r Dhruv rite. (NO I AM HIS GHOST)

Me: Yes Maam.

Tarjini maam: So tell us sumthin abt urself Dhruv (USELESS QUESTION)

Me: Blah blah blah…..

Tarjini maam: U speak good English. (I KNEW THAT)

Me: thank you maam

Tarjini maam: Dhruv do u study anywhere. (YES AT BK SCHOOL OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT)

Me: No maam I left my studies long back in 2005 after completing 12^th standard (I HATE LIES)

Tarjini maam: Y?

Me: Maam actually we had a family and a financial crisis during that period. My family needed me so I left studying. (AND ONCE U SPEAK.. IT IS TO BE HIDDEN BY ANOTHEER 100 LIES)

Nishant Sir: But then u speak very well English.. (TAARIF PE TAARIF)

Me: Actually sir I have been involved in business since 2005 and we have a clientele from states like Bengal, tamil nadu and kerala. In south place they don’t use hindi as a language so I started learnin English myself

Nishant Sir: So y do u want to join call center now? (WHO SAID I WANT TO JOIN)

Me: I came to Ahmedabad for a couple of days for some business purpose. I liked here. I stay wid my frnds here. Our business is goin well. My dad can handle it now. My uncle maintains it. I am not bound to answer any one now. I am free to explore the whole world. Friends were coming here for an interview so I came here with them. And I heard call centers are also high salary job. (HMM..)

Nishant Sir: Call centers are not high salary job but they are well paid job.

Me: Sir what is the difference between both?

Nishant Sir: U get low salary in call centers but with extra income generated from ur efficient working and and other incentives ur total income can be more than double than ur basic salary.

Me: Ok sir.

Tarjini maam: So what salary do you expect here?

Me: I don’t know maam what are the contemporary standards of salary going on in the BPO industry but I wud expect something good.

Nishant Sir: and what good amount do u expect?

Me: I said I don’t know much about here sir.

Nishant Sir: But I would like to know the amount Dhruv.

Me: Sir I said I don’t know about money here. I know it is a high salary job because I had an informal discussion wid a friend who works at a call centre.

Nishant Sir: Listen Dhruv I want to know the amount in your mind.

Me: ok sir, I would consider 8000 rs as a fair and considerable amount

Tarjini maam: ok Dhruv but as your a fresher and not even a graduate we can’t give u that amount. May b u will soon progress to that amount once you join here.

Me: Ok madam.

Nishant Sir: Dhruv do u have a bike?

Me: Yes Sir but not here. I have at my home town. It is located near diu.

Nishant Sir: Can you bring it here?

Me: Sure sir, I can but in a week.

Than some English Hindi Gujarati translations were given to me. I passed them all successfully.

Nishant Sir: Ok Dhruv congratulations u r selected. U can join as early as possible. Can u join from tomoro?

Me: No sir I am sorry. I am here for some business purpose and it will take me 2 atleast to go back home and get back here with my clothing. (LIES)

Nishant Sir: 2 days how far is your place from Ahmedabad?

Me: I say it would be around 400-410 kms

Nishant Sir: Oh it is just 4-5 hours journey than.

Me: I beg your pardon but sir here to diu it takes aroun hours in a bus and 6-7 hours when u drive a car. I myself drove recently and it took me 6 and a half hours.

Nishant Sir: At what speed were you driving Dhruv? (FOOLISH QUESTION)

Me: Sir around 100 km/hr

Nishant Sir: At 100kms per hour you can easily reach Ahmedabad in 4 hours. (HENCE PROVED HE IS A FOOL)

Me: I once again beg your pardon but when you travel it is the average speed that matters as u cannot travel at 100 all throughout your way. (HOW CAN HE CHALLENGE A SCIENCE STUDENT??)

Tarjini Maam: Ok Dhruv wen can you join?

Me: Tomoro I have a couple of meetings than I will go home, I will be surely joining on next Monday.

Tarjini Maam: Ok than Dhruv than it is done. Next Monday final.

Me: (Smilingly) Yes Maam.

Than the salary was discussed briefly and was settled to 6000-6200 of total. I laughed out of my mind after this interview and I want you all also to laugh. They followed me up many times on cell and then finally gave up. A nice experience I say.

Hi

This is the first time I am writing something. Actually when this blog funda became popular a couple of years ago, I considered it as a worthless shit (u know for Gujarati people everything has to be worth something) and a waste of time and I vowed never to waste my time here. I am not in an idea that many people should visit my blog and write comments on it but the very idea of publishing something on internet with my name attached on it gave me a thrill otherwise I can write my blog on MS Word and save it on my computer (actually I have typed this document on MS Word and have pasted it here then).

I don't know how to write neither am creative at all. Just a couple of days before, my very good friends Anirudh and Priyanka appeared on BlogSpot but than I thought that they are wasting their time and going with the trend of blogging. But then when I was sleeping once in a maths lecture (as I always am) this idea to write something just passed through my mind. I suddenly woke up, acted on the thought and created a rough draft in my mind. May be I am also going with the trend but I don't know now. I will write as much as I can and one day if another such thought comes I will delete this all.

First I thought to write on wordpress but than it is a standard thing where expert people write their views and I don't want to insult them by writing my rubbish in between them. And for newcomers like me BlogSpot is the only one.

I would here like to give some background about myself here. I am a Management student at Gujarat University and an Engineer already (so as Aamir Khan says in 3Idiots I am a gadha). I would surely get back to him and justify my point in this blog but some other day.

Now it time for me to go to college so am leaving now. And force me yaar I will surely keep blogging.
